It appears that Taylor Swift has filed for a trademark on the word "midnights".

For those who don't know, this is when a company or person tries to register a word, phrase or logo to claim exclusive use. For example, you can't use the phrase "Just do it" to sell shoes. There are very few restrictions. I am not kidding, there is a trademark on the word "Jesus" for things like wine and perfume.<br><br>The trademark application isn't approved yet but if it is, can I still say I stay up in the midnights? If I'm still allowed to say the word "midnights", will she get paid for every time I say the word "midnights"?
