I'm not getting my kid anything for Christmas

I got my kid a birthday party. Invited everyone. 17 people. Spent money on a game, decorations, cake, food, drinks, and two prizes for games. They had fun. Got to show off. Got gifts from others. That's how it goes. <br><br>That was about a month ago, so now it's Christmas. None of my family or friends are giving my kid any gifts for a whole month. Decided to just send a group text with all the dates I was busy at work and all the things I'd done for them in return. Hit send. <br><br>Nobody said a thing.
