Parachute here I am a Muslim and I’ve always been curious on how you as Hindus view the religion and I found this sub while browsing but I ‘m not good at asking questions so I I’ve taken some questions from a similar post on r/indiasubreddit and I hope I get a honest answer.

Q1. What are your opinions on Islam? Q2. Do Hindus believe that the holy book of the Muslims is true word of God?
Q3. Why do Hindus reject the authority of the Quran?
Q4. What is your view on the following verses taken from the Quran which specifically talk about idolaters:
1-3. 95.6 reads, "The disbelievers are the friends and protectors of one another; until you ( Arabs ) do this (referring to ‘do not make friends with the idolaters’) (protect one another), there will be tumult (or discord) on earth and great corruption.” (Paranoid about being betrayed by idolaters)
4-5. 3.151 reads, “Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which he had sent no authority: their abode will be the fire: and evil is the home of the wrong-doers!” (Terrorism)
252. reads, “Fight them! Allah will chastise them at the hands of you (Muslims) and will punish them and will help you to victory over them, and will heal the breasts of Believers.”
3.85 reads, “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah) never will it be accepted of them; and in the hereafter they will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).”
25:52 reads, "Therefore, listen not to the unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness with it (the Quran).' And 25.68-70 are Shirk verses which condemn idolaters by saying, “Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; nor this who bears false witness, shall receive Allah's curse in this world and in the hereafter, and heavy shall be their penalty: those who repent and amend shall have their punishment turned to forgiveness; and Allah is forgiving, merciful. Those who repent before they fall into your power are saved. Know that Allah is forgiving, merciful but do not forgive them (idolaters) until you are sure that they follow your religion!”
8.12 reads, “I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all of their finger tips off them. It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou dost throw a handful of dust (at the enemy, Allah will make it fill their eyes and nostrils and cause them to panic and block their vision and hence throw them into confusion so that they can’t aim at and/or hit you) but when ye threw (referring to the handful of dust) Allah did throw. Allah will not give the cover to infidels to cause harm to the believers. Those who have been killed for the sake of Allah, He will not let their works to go in vain. He will guide them (to heaven) and set right their deeds and will admit them to paradise which He has made known to them (before hand as a solace). Oh believers! Fear Allah and seek his help exclusively and fight valiantly in His cause with your belongings and lives (wealth and blood). It will be better for you and you will be rewarded if you know (that Allah is all powerful and no power on earth can match His power). Allah will forgive you your past and future sins and reward you heaven as He has promised and will bestow on you streams (of water) and beautiful gardens and palaces to live in! This is the real success!’ (The promise of paradise with beautiful gardens and streams of waters and attractive maidens – houris – waiting for you is what motivates these terrorists and/or suicide bombers who kill innocent people and expect this reward if they are killed during their brutal act which they euphemistically and ignorably call ‘Jihad’)
8.60 reads, “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power including steeds of war, to strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of Allah and your enemies (making them afraid as to what demon Muslims will do to them) and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated with injustice.”
9.5 reads, “But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in all stratagems (of war); but if they repent (from Satan worship), and establish regular prayers and practices regular charity, then open industry the way for them: for Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.”
9.29. Reads, "Fight those who believe neither in Allah nor I the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, (even if they are) of the people of the Book (referring to Christians and Jews whom the Quran considers as infidels), until they pay the jizya (heavy taxes) with willing submission and although they are in subjection (to the will of Allah I.e. pay Jizya).”
47.4 reads, “Therefore, when ye meet the unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; at length when ye have thoroughly punished them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity (i.e. free them without ransom) or ransom: until the war lays down its burdens or until you have taken a lot of booty as spoils of war. Thus (are ye commanded): but had it been Allah’s will, he could certainly have exacted retribution from them (himself); but (he lets you fight) in order to test your courage, so that it may be proved in all things, and the period of your life and your deeds may be shown to be of some value. And if it be that death overtakes you, if it be that death overtakes you, righteously (i.e. while in Jihad or holy war) and exert your utmost for fear of him who has no associates or others to share authority with Him so that you do not obey him and although He forgives whom He pleases (referring to those who die while on Jihad) yet He will punish whom He pleases (referring to apostates I.e. those who renounce Islam and/or believers who leave Jihad). And Allah is ‘free of all wants and forbearing’.” (Note the contradictory statements made by Allah – He forgives whom He pleases and punishes whom He pleases – isn’t this a game of His choice? What do the punished souls do in such a situation? Allah describes Himself as free of all wants and forbearing? Which are all His wants? Are they not the dictums of the Quran? Which are the “wants” of Allah that He is free of? What does He mean by “free of all wants?” Oh! Your Allah is indeed a strange, bewildering ‘Being!’ Oh! What an absolutely, unbelievably and unimaginably ‘lovely’ Allah you as Muslims worship!!!)
9.73 reads, “Oh Prophet, strive hard (wage ‘Jihad’ or holy war) against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell and evil land to return to.' (This verse came down when the hypocrites refused to take part in the expedition of Tabouk during the last months of Muhammad’s life)
Q5. Would you consider the following verses to be racist:
1. Volume 7, Book 69, Number 504. Narrated Anas. A man peeped through a round hole into the mosque of the Prophet, while the Prophet was leading the prayer, then I inserted my hand in the hole and covered it forcibly until I fell on the ground because of it but saw that the other was not harmed! The Prophet said, “If I knew his name, I would have ejected him out because of it (the hole) to humiliate him I would have ordered him to be stoned to death because he has committed as adulterer against Allah and His Apostle!” (The man whom Anus saw was black)
2. Volume 9, Book 89, Number 256. Narrated Anas. Allah’s Apostle said, ‘You shall conquer Egypt (and whereas you shall find tremendous wealth in it) and when that day comes to you, be kind to the Copts (Christians I.e. infidels) for they are your proteges and kinsmen!’
3. Volume 1, Book 2, Number 21. Narrated Abu Huraira. The Prophet said, I have been made victorious ‘with terror’ (the fear of being stoned to death) and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were ‘divinely’ brought to me and put in my hand.”
4. Volume 9, Book 92, Number 394. Narrated AbudDarda. The Prophet said, “he who slaps his face or tears his garments and/or calls out to (the tribal) superstitions of ‘Jahiliyya’ (the days of ignorance I.e. demon worship) is one who is not of us!”
5. Volume 8, Book 76
