Grad Cap Toss is a bunch of entitled nonsense and hope that all the caps float away

When I was in college (a very long time ago), the tossing of the caps was seen as a way for students to thumb their noses at the man and express their newfound independence. Others saw it as a way to spoil a special moment for pictures to be taken by the parents. I have never been a fan of the grad cap toss and I don't think it should be allowed.<br><br>Upon leaving college you have not yet accomplished anything major in your life. Your degree does not ensure you a job, nor does it guarantee success. What it does is open the door to success, but you must walk through it. Until you accomplish something big in life, you really haven't done anything to brag about and should not make your crowning achievement in life your college degree.<br><br>I also hate that it tends to ruin the moment for everyone who wants a nice photo with their parents or loved ones with the caps on.<br><br>WE DID IT! NOW LET'S RUIN THE PICTURES BY THOWING MY CAP!<br><br>Fuck you. Take your photo and then toss the cap if you must.
