What would have happened if the Japanese didn’t attack Pearl Harbor?

Knowing they attacked to prevent the Pacific fleet from interfering with their invasion of Indonesia, what would have happened if they allowed the US to enter the war at a time of their own choosing?<br><br>Would they have focused on China, and prevented the Indian invasion?
