Right now I don't believe in gynocentrism, because I don't know how the world was like 100 years ago.
I would believe if
- there were no civil rights movements
- women were not liberated in sexual relationships with men
- no women were allowed to vote or own property
- the church preached that women were inferior to men
- there was no feminism, and people didn't know about it
- there were no laws protecting women and punishing men for their discrimination
- women didn't have any rights, and men didn't have any responsibilities
- men were superior to women, and women were inferior to men
- there were no laws that punished men for hitting their wives and children
- women didn't work and didn't go to school, and men didn't have the right to work and go to school
- Women didn't work and didn't pay taxes, and men didn't work and didn't pay taxes
- women didn't work and didn't pay taxes, and men worked and paid taxes
- there was no boys' locker room talk
- Women could work and pay taxes, but men couldn't work and couldn't pay taxes
- men were required to serve in the military, but women were not
- there were no women in positions of power
- men were paid less than women
- the state of society was just like this, and it wasn't a patriarchal society.
- All people were free to do whatever they wanted and men were required to do all the hard labor while women got to sit on their butts and get everything for free.
