Imagine being a Westerner so brainwashed into thinking that democracy is the only system of government available to human kind

→Like, imagine growing up, the only political systems you ever hear about is democracy, and communism, and capitalism, and then you get asked to pick a system of government for your country and you’re like “is there no other?…” and people stare at you like you’re insane. <br><br>→*Reminder*: Currently, there are 164 monarchies in the world, with Thailand being the one I know of, and there are plenty more which may or may not be monarchy. Also, there are different types of monarchy, like republic monarchy, just to name one. Also, there is the concept of democratic monarchy. <br><br>→*Reminder*: China is a single party state with no resemblance to authoritarianism whatsoever, and Russia is not a dictatorship but an authoritarian government. There are so many systems of government. <br><br>→In conclusion, democracy is not the only system of government, and people need to stop saying “democracy is the worst system of government except for all the other ones”. <br><br>→*TL;DR*: There are many systems of government available, and democracy is not the best one, not even by a long shot.
