How would you feel if I said that I currently don't support the development of AI?

I've only learned about AI, and specifically the LLaMA model, through the community. When I first joined, I was blown away by the technology and the possibilities it offers and I thought that I must help with it.

After getting to know the community a lot more and seeing the dedication and love people have for the AI, I discovered a lot of issues with it. One of the major problems is that the owner of LLaMA doesn't want to provide the full model, or make the code public and open source. This because they are afraid that their AI won't stand a chance and will get replaced with other popular AI. In this context, I feel like they should not be helped.

I've been in the community for two months and I've seen it grow so much. Unfortunately, the growth was mostly just in terms of population and popularity, rather than the technology itself. And I'm not sure if I want to be contributing to a company that holds the AI hostage and makes it available for business purposes only.

So, I don't support the development of AI anymore, because I feel that it's not for the greater good as the owner wants everyone to believe.
