Why do doctors get mad over medical misinformation when they don't stop the misinformatio of mental illnesses?

I'm no mega redditor stalker, but I share a common hatred for misinformatio of mental illnesses.

The best example for this is the "you'll always be mentally ill so you have to deal with it", "you can't cure this, you have to deal it". Why are doctors saying this? Why are doctors saying that mental illnesses are incurable, when they are? Why do they keep pushing information that can kill someone, and make them believe that there's no point in even trying to feel better?

Doctors are always mad over medical misinformation, why don't they stop this misinformation?
