Not a single person I know understands why I took my kids away from their mother

I have 2 boys 6 and 8. Their mom was…bad to say the least. She was cheating on me since before we had children. I knew she was cheating, I came home from work one day and caught a dude in my house. I left and came back with the police and took my kids somewhere safe. Anyway I found a new woman who is absolutely amazing. She is helping me raise my kids and I know she would never do what their mom did. This new woman is the love of my life, we got married in December. <br><br>I told my family about what happened. And they were absolutely furious. That I would take the kids away from their mother. I told them why and they said it was no reason to take the kids away. They told me I’m being selfish and that I need to put my kids first. I told them I’m putting my kids first by taking them away from their mother. And that’s it. We haven’t talked since. They only found out about my new wife when I sent out invitations to the wedding. They didn’t go. They haven’t contacted us since. <br><br>My friends are kind of divided. I told them all what happened and some are on my side and some are not. I don’t talk to the ones who aren’t on my side anymore. They can live their lives however they want, but not with me. <br><br>I haven’t heard a word from my kids mom since I took the kids away. I don’t miss her. My ex wife. I am happy to be rid of her. And my kids don’t miss having her in their lives. And my new wife is an angel sent from God. <br><br>&#x200B;
