What would happen to the average citizen if the 2nd amendment is repealed?

This is mostly for those who wish to see the 2nd amendment repealed. Let’s assume you get your way. Now the government goes around and takes all guns from law abiding citizens. Sure, some of us would hide them, but that’s all on us. But let’s assume the government gets their way like you wanted, and they take all guns. <br><br>Now, as an unarmed civilian, do you think you are safe? What are you going to use to defend yourself? What are really going to do when your friendly neighborhood criminal gets a gun and comes to your house. What are you going to do then? <br><br>What are you going to do when the police take an hour to get there and you hear your spouse or kids crying in another room and you can’t do a thing because you were scared of your right to protect yourself and you let others decide to do that for you.
