Why do republicans keep saying "this is the end of America"?

Saying that since they got rid of Roe vs Wade. Anyways, literally nothing has happened since. Only in lousiana and Alabama has abortions been banned; but most states have either banned it or kept it...so why are republicans saying abortions are banned when its not?
