If you're anything like me then you've probably had the following problem: you get invited to a group chat on WhatsApp or mms or any other app, this invite is usually followed by the addition of 20 different people, and then a flurry of messages to say "hey" to everyone. In some cases, it's more than 20. So now you get 30+ notifications, you're messaging app is stuck in notification hell so you select all the messages and delete them.

This is my app idea, hey. You download the app, link your phone number to the app on your smartphone, you're given a unique username. this username is used to send messages to other users. To help you find other users, you have the following features:
- A favourites list
- A contacts list of people you have messaged on other devices
- A search bar at the top of the app
- a Friend Code system on other devices

Now on to the minimalistic stuff (after all, it's basically just mms on pc). You open the app on your pc or mobile app. You are greeted with a high contrast black and white interface with your favourites and DMs on the right, and a search bar at the top (similar to discord). select a Chat or add a friend code and enter the chat, you are then greeted by a text box to type your message out, and a list of all previous messages. That's it, there are no extra features on this screen, you can send normal text, change the colour of the app, change the theme of the app, select a different font, change the font size, and that's it. No stickers, no voice messages, no Gifs, no images, no video, no voice calls, no video calls.

The app runs off of your phone on pc, and this is all explained during the tutorial of the app on pc. This tutorial can also be exited out of.
