What is the future of Hinduism?

Before you go bitter, let me first say that I am no enemy to Hinduism, and I am Hindu myself. <br><br>As we all know, the world is moving ahead towards science and technology, more and more people are starting to accept and actually believe in science, and are getting away from just believing in blind myths. <br><br>Similarly, Hinduism today is indulged in just blind and illogical practices. Hinduism is such a wonderful religion that it has everything in it, but Hinduism today is all about illiterate illogical blind faith. <br><br>As a Hindu myself, I am embarrassed to show my religion in front of the world. I am embarrassed to call myself a Hindu. Why? <br><br>\*\*Why do we celebrate Diwali for the return of Ram, when Ram never existed in reality.\*\* Why is everywhere Ram lalla's picture used in Diwali ads, despite this festival is actually celebrated for victorious return of lord Rama to his home after a long 14 years, whereas there is no historical proof of any Rama to have ever existed in Ayodhya or elsewhere. <br><br>Why is science and Hinduism different? Why do we have to believe in one and why are they against each other? <br><br>\*\*Why do we worship Ganesha, when there is no proof of any Ganesha to have ever existed.\*\* <br><br>\*\*Why and how do we celebrate Makar Sankranti, when it is actually a festival to celebrate winter and end of winter solstice.\*\*<br><br>\*\*Why is Goddess saraswati just a mythological character, but not a real being, who is a guardian of knowledge.\*\*<br><br>I can only hope that one day Hinduism would be free from all these blind faiths and myths, and we Hindus could then proudly show our religion to the world. <br><br>\*\*It is high time now, to get ourselves away from all these blind faiths and illogical imaginations.\*\*
