CMV: By not voting, you are undemocratically disenfranchising every citizen who does vote.

The right to vote comes with a moral obligation to vote. By not voting, you are saying that your vote (which is the same value as all votes) is worthless. By saying your vote is worthless, you are saying that every vote is worthless. If every vote is worthless, why would anyone bother voting? If the right to vote loses its value because your vote is worthless, you disenfranchise everyone who does value their vote.

If you want to disenfranchise yourself, that's your right. But when you disenfranchise everyone, you adopt the moral posture of a tyrant, who is only satisfied when the freedom of others is surrendered.
