I am a child birth educator and I do lectures on how to get your new baby to sleep through the night. I always mention that infants can sometimes sleep through the night 8-10 hours straight. Parents will message me saying, “my child started sleeping through the night” and I’m like “for how long?” Usually it’s a week or 2. However I’ve had at least one mother state that her child sleeps like that every single night.

Idk how this happens when most children don’t sleep through the night like that. Even toddlers will wake up in the night.
