What prevents someone from stealing our feelings and memories just like body snatchers does?

Body snatchers are people who break into graves and steal dead bodies for medical research. <br><br> Memories and feelings occur in our brain. Therefore, they could be transferred into another person's body right? One's body could be left where you are, and you could be transferred into another person and your feelings and memories could be adopted by them.
