It's expected but still really disappointing that the majority of people are incapable of being objective and rational in regards to the coronavirus

Nobody knows what the middle/long term future holds. Whether lockdowns will help or not, well, we can only guess. Scientists are just guessing. We will see the results only in the future.<br><br>But when you want to see numbers before making rash decisions, people call you an idiot.<br><br>When you say that the economy is important, people call you an asshole.<br><br>You cannot discuss this with anyone. If you are not scared, you are an idiot. If you are scared, well, you're just part of the crowd then.<br><br>What happened with this world and with the people as a whole? How could you expect a meaningful discussion from the majority of the people? How can you call others idiots and assholes just because they have different opinions?
