I had a Table top discussion with the panel of a live event last night. They were 4 men who were all vet's and I am a 25 year old female with 0 military training. I crushed it.

So I was invited to a round table panel discussion to talk about things like gun rights and the 2nd amendment. To be fair, it was hosted by a gun rights group, so if anything, it was very biased. During the event though, there was a Q and A for the audience and I got to travel down memory lane and remember allot of the points I used to make when I was still on Reddit allot. However there was a gentleman in the audience who challenged me on a few things, and even though I did not know the exact numbers, I was able to shoot down his points with my knowledge and do it in a respectful manner. I did however use some of my points from this sub that allot of you taught me. Thank you for helping me with my arguments and helping me come across as an educated gun owner and not some dumb chick with a gun. I know this sub can be very divisive, but I hope we can all be adults and realize that there is room for disagreement and still talk about the topic at hand.

EDIT: So I am flooded with pm's asking for the video of the discussion. I am waiting to get it from the gun group that hosted it. I will add an edit with it when I get it. Also thank you for the awards. I do not expect them and I am not trying to sound like a gold digger lol.
