This is a great opportunity to remind the Palestinians of the good you’ve done for them

For example, remember that:

* Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has not ethnically cleansed its Arab population, and today there are over 2 million Arab citizens of Israel, many of whom are highly educated and have made enormous contributions to the Israeli economy, culture, and science.
* One of the reasons why the Arab population of Israel has not been ethnically cleansed is that Israel has consistently upheld the rule of law and protected the human rights of all its citizens. Israel remains the only country in the Middle East where there is separation of church and state, where there is freedom of speech, of the press, freedom of religion, gender equality, and where there is an independent judiciary with a strong Supreme Court. Even when there were terrorist attacks, Israel did not resort to collective punishment or ethnic cleansing against its Arab citizens. Despite occasional outbreaks of racism and violence, the vast majority of Israeli Jews and Arabs coexist peacefully.
* The Arab citizens of Israel have played a very important role in the country's development, and continue to do so. Arab citizens of Israel have served as ministers, as judges, as diplomats, as heads of universities, as generals in the army, as astronauts, and as world-renowned artists, writers, and musicians. They make important contributions to the Israeli economy, and have helped to create jobs and prosperity for all Israelis, and for Palestinians.
* Palestinians living under Israeli rule today enjoy a much higher standard of living, much better access to healthcare and education, and much better human rights protections than Palestinians living under Arab rule. The vast majority of Palestinian refugees living in Arab countries are denied citizenship, denied the right to work, denied access to free healthcare and education, and are confined to refugee camps with no hope of escaping dire poverty and miserable living conditions. In contrast, the Palestinians living in Israel and in Jerusalem enjoy all these rights.
* Israel has consistently been generous with the Palestinians living under its rule. Israel has built new hospitals and medical facilities for them, including Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem, which is one of the most advanced medical centers in the Middle East. Israel has invested millions of dollars in schools and education for the Palestinians. Israel has provided free healthcare and social services to the Palestinians. Israel has made enormous efforts to provide clean water, electricity and sanitation to the Palestinians, and to improve their living conditions.
* Israel has always shown restraint in its treatment of the Palestinians, even when faced with massive terrorism. Israel has never retaliated against a terror attack on civilians with an attack on Arab civilians. Israel has never bombed Arab cities into rubble, or attacked Arab houses of worship or hospitals. Israel has never used chemical weapons or phosphorus bombs against the Palestinians, nor has Israel ever falsely accused the Palestinians of using these weapons. All these things have been done by the Palestinians against Israel, and against other Arabs.
* Israel has tried to make peace with the Palestinians for many decades. Israel has offered the Palestinians statehood many times, and has always been willing to see a Palestinian state established alongside the Jewish state. Israel has consistently and sincerely sought to find a negotiated solution to the conflict, which would meet the needs of both Israelis and Palestinians. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have never been willing to accept statehood, and have always rejected Israel's offers. Despite this, Israel continues to seek peace and to offer the Palestinians statehood.
