Does anyone notice ‘censorship’ within social media and the internet? Or is that just part of the illusion?

So like, with some thing there will be an echo chamber of the same few viewpoints repeated over and over and over with the same people from the same source. And if you step out of line you’ll be shadow banned or deleted.<br><br>Not just with viewpoints but ‘popular’ ‘trending’ and so on. Everything I see on the internet internationally has the same talking points and ‘trending topics’ about celebrities and news.<br><br>With the algorithm and the echo chambers, I feel like there is no real freedom of speech unless you fit within the line. What are your thoughts on this?<br><br>I’ve been developing the feeling that the internet is some kind of illusion or form of control.
