I think another poster had the right idea by using this sub to facilitate people going on holidays together, but I’ll explain more about myself before I get into the idea properly. I’m a 26 year old guy from England who’s recently finished a course I’ve been on at uni, and I’m now in a position where I can properly save up and take a trip to the US later in the year, or maybe next year depending on how my job search goes. I’m still very much in the planning stage.

I’ve always wanted to visit the pacific northwest (perhaps the Oregon coast by car), and I know that the US is a big place so getting around is difficult and expensive, especially for us non-Americans who will no doubt be paying a premium. I read somewhere that people from some EU countries can drive licence-wise, but this is not the case for us Brits. So, I think car sharing between nationalities could save on fuel, airport costs and car hire costs. No doubt there are plenty of Americans who are in a similar position to me, planning on visiting the UK. If so, fancy teaming up? There’s a wide range of terrain between Western France and Eastern Russia

TL,DR: Looking to visit the US in the next year, hoping to car share with American to cut costs. If you’re from the US and are planning on visiting the UK, we could work something out.
