this is a really weird world

I’m just a regular guy. I mowed grass for a living as a kid. Now I work at a local machine shop. I’m nothing more than average. I don’t have anything particularly interesting about me. I’m not rich. I’m not poor. I’m not smart. I’m not dumb. I’m not particularly physically capable. I’m not weak. I’m just… average. <br><br>And this world just got weirder and weirder and weirder for me to watch. Less than a decade ago, I never had to deal with anything more political than who is better, Ny Yankees or Boston Red Sox. Then suddenly the world went crazy. Coronavirus? Really? It’s been a weird ride ever since. <br><br>Now it’s just… trans this, police that, riot this, war that.<br><br>I just don’t get it. Why are we all so obsessed with the gender of a less than 1% minority? I don’t CARE if someone is trans! Why does it have to be so important? I don’t understand. <br><br>I do care that police keep acting like they are the military. I don’t understand how an armed force is necessary for people. Why is it important that we are policed? If I’m not committing a crime, why do I have to be policed? I don’t understand why people are okay with that. I don’t understand why the police are okay with that. <br><br>And then this Ukraine conflict. I don’t understand why other countries have to get involved with Ukraine. Why should it matter to the United States? I don’t understand. <br><br>I don’t understand this world. I’m going to go mow grass.
