I lured a couple of child predators to my house, snuck out and recorded them outlooking my 16 year old daughter.

I’ve been suspecting for a while that something was up with my daughter. She’s always come home in the evening, around dinner time, and up until recently she’s never asked to go to a friends house etc.<br><br>One day her home papers came through the door, with a list of all the kids in her class, and a picture of each kid next to their name. I noticed one kid had no address and his picture wasn’t of a kid in her class. I showed my husband, and we decided to put his picture on Google images and look at the results. <br><br>A lot of results were of him playing sport and other normal kid things, but one result, of him holding a little kid, made us both get worried. Further research revealed that a lot of similar photos existed, of him holding kids, and in lots of different places. Research also revealed that his name was linked to child abuse. This kid was in her class, and I decided I had to put a stop to it.<br><br>Me and my husband decided to set up a camera, we showed the pictures to him and told him we were going to set up a camera filmable money pouch on the window sill in the front room, it was a pretty obvious spot for him to check for cash when he rode past. The camera was set up, the pictures were left on the garden chair, and the cushions on the front lounge windows looked like a weight had been lifted from the shoulders of every parent in the neighbourhood.<br><br>A week went by, and we heard from a neighbours wife on the matter, it turns out that evening that creep was riding past our house, on his push bike, when he spotted the cushions, thought no ones home and cracked on. He knocked, my daughter answered thinking it was my, the creepy kid took her phone off her, and she got in his car. She normally wouldn’t do that but he thought she was me.<br><br>We set up a tracker on her phone, and followed her to a forest, a 20 minute ride from my house. I followed in my car, me and my daughter’s neighbours wife followed him on bikes. I snuck past them and into the forest, I saw several bags buried, and a tent set up.<br><br>Me and the wife snuck back out, we drove to a shop nearby and called the police. They arrived, and thanks to the tracker, they were able to track him live and see where he was, and with the proof of what was in those bags they arrested him on the spot. <br><br>They told us they would wait for him to do it again, and we said we wanted to film it. They told us it was a little risky, but they said ok. A few days later he rode past the house again, when my husband was home, my daughter answered, he thought it was my husband and cracked on. He followed her to the forest again, she was wearing a wire, and my husband followed on his bike.<br><br>They were arguing about trying to find a better spot to do it, when my husband rode out of view and he knew he was in trouble. My husband rode back into view and he tried to ride away, but the police were there and arrested him. My daughter’s wire recorded him asking her if she’d tell her dad, and her saying no, and then him asking if he could stuff her before he’d do it. He was arrested on the spot.<br><br>That was a few years ago, I’m happy to say that kid is where he belongs, and my daughter is 16 and as pure as the driven snow.<br><br>Edit, cannot thank you all for the kind words enough!
