So how is the world after the Russians left?

I came here from r/kingcobrajfs and I’ve seen a lot of cool world-building in this sub. I just wanted to know, what happened to the world after the Russians left? And I am not talking about the Ukraine/Russian war, I am talking about what happened in the 90s. Or did that not affect us?
