You can’t recreate conscious life either.

I think we as a species are completely insane. I don’t understand how we could rationalize bringing self aware and complex life into the world when either <br><br>A: We can’t take care of our own people, or<br>B. We don’t know what it means. <br><br>How could we possibly understand our conscious existence when our own type is conscious and we can’t even replicate it. Not to mention we can’t even actually replicate it - we can only make a robot mimic us. I’m not sure why we can’t understand the fact that either we’re not smart enough to bring conscious life into the world, or we’re not mature enough to. Either way it sounds like a diversion tactic to me. I’m not sure how much is the truth with these AI robots, I don’t think we’re supposed to know. But we should also shouldn’t be too excited about something we don’t understand.
