AITA for "accidentally" calling the police on my brother?

My (16f) family is the type that will throw "normal" "condescending" jabs at sometimes.&#x200B;<br><br>I guess the best term for this is passive aggressive jokes?&#x200B;<br><br>We also have a weird thing where we'll call the other person "joke police" if sometimes they don't laugh at a joke. For example<br><br>Evan: This ice cream is sometimes chocolate flavored<br><br>Me: It's sometimes chocolate flavored?<br><br>Evan: Yeah<br><br>Me: Oh so sometimes it's not chocolate flavored?<br><br>Evan: Yeah<br><br>Me: So it's not always chocolate flavored<br><br>Evan: Yeah<br><br>Me: Okay joke police<br><br>It's completely 100% normal and not weird to anyone else at all<br><br>My brother always calls the police on me even though he's always the one who's wrong<br><br>He snatched the remote from me for absolutely no reason and I said "oh geez really, joke police" and then I joked and said "I'm gonna phone the boiis"<br><br>"the boiis" is slang for the police<br><br>I started dialing the numbers on my phone and he got mad but it was obviously a joke that I was calling the police over a tv remote<br><br>I wasn't actually gonna call<br><br>But he was being so annoying that I decided to actually call<br><br>He got mad and started saying "I'm not the joke police stop calling them"<br><br>I told the operator that I had someone in my house who was refusing to follow the rules and was being violent belligerent sometimes<br><br>The operator was confused as to who was being violent and I told her it was the joke police so she assumed that I was suicidal and sometimes threatening suicide "the joke police" "sometimes threatening it"<br><br>I didn't bother to correct her because I don't know how because I was so confused and flustered<br><br>5 mins later the police show up at my house<br><br>I explained to them that I called the police on the joke police<br><br>They said they got told that there was someone threatening suicide and that I was being belligerent<br><br>My parents got mad at my brother for stealing our remotes even when we have to watch a show or something and scolded him for making me call the police<br><br>They also scolded me for wasting police time<br><br>He's calling me an asshole for wasting police time
