The only reason anyone thinks that it's not already here is that 99% of the world still doesn't actively use AI.

The singularity was supposed to be about what happens when machines become smarter than humans. But it's not the machines that are getting smarter. It's us. It's humans that now have the ability to access the intelligence of machines.

What happens when humans, with the ability to access unlimited intelligence, start working tirelessly 24/7 nonstop? Are they not smarter than humans?

What happens when millions of humans (most likely already billions) all with the ability to access unlimited intelligence all work together in tandem on a single task?

It doesn't matter if it's GPT, Claude, Gemini, Bard, etc. As long as they are all generally available.

AGI is just a buzzword. The intelligence and capabilities of the machines doesn't even matter. It's that millions of humans can now all access the intelligence of the machines.

In all regards, the singularity is already here.

This is all so painfully obvious.
