I was a witness in a court case today. The guy was married with kids, and his wife cheated on him

My friend and I had been house sitting a home near the woods and someone was stealing timber from the property, the police caught the thieving scumbag and I was a witness. After the court case we stuck around to see the other court cases, as it was so surreal. So there is this guy 45 years old, who has a 20 year old daughter and a 2 year old daughter. So his wife was having an affair for a year before she left him. Now I’ll admit that the guy is not the most attractive man, and he was very thin, but he was not downright disgusting or anything. Anyway, so the wife was having an affair for a year while she was still having sex with her husband. She was caught cheating and the guy is being sued for threatening the affair partner. So the wife, her family and the affair partner are all there and the guy is there on his own. I could tell how broken he was, and it’s pathetic that his wife cheated on him with his daughters around. He was so emaciated and looked defeated. He was so f*cked that his wife’s family were there and the man she had an affair with and he didn’t even have his own family to stand by him. It’s so damn pathetic. Anyway he was found guilty and has to do some community service, which is stupid. What the hell is the logic in that sentence is beyond me.
