reddit loves to hate on shoplifters, but how do you think your favorite product got there?

I'm sure your favorite product didn't magically land on the store shelf. I'm sure the employees didn't work for free to stock it, and I'm sure reddit didn't come to those employees' houses and do their laundry for them either. So how do you think it got there? Do you think it just magically appeared?
