I immigrated to the US when I was 8 years old, back in 1998. My father was a professor at a university in China, and he got a tenure here in the US. He is very liberal and a democrat, and he brought that to our household. I didn't really know much about politics but I did grow up in a very liberal area (MA), and I thought that the left/progressive was the way to go. I am now 30 years old and I truly think anyone who is a minority/(POC) and votes democrat doesn't know any better. \*

I've lived through the Birthing industry scandal in MA, where chinese and vietnamese women were cutting their umblicul cords in the hospital so they can claim they were born in the US. I lived through figuratively having my brother called a cheater in high school because he was asian. \*

I've lived through the entire country blaming Chinese, east asians, and south east asians for Covid, and the democrats not saying shit about it. I saw the movement of "stop asian hate" get hijacked by BLM, and the dems did nothing about it. I saw all of my friends (who are mostly minority) fight amongst themselves about who had it worse during covid, and the democrats encouraged it. \*

The democrats DO NOT care about you, unless you're black or hispanic. The rest of us are second class citizens to them. The left will make us fight each other and gaslight us when we complain about being treated like second class citizens. The democrats want us to fight each other and divide us so we can't unite. \*

I used to think it was the "right" that hated people of color, but it's both. At least Republicans are upfront about racism. I will never vote democrat again. \*

Edit: I think this may have been the wrong subreddit, but I appreciate all of the feed back, both positive and negative.
