I’m fucking sick and tired of seeing US politics all over Chambers.

I’m from another English speaking country, and I’m constantly amazed by how often US politics seems to be the theme of just about every subchambers I enjoy.<br><br>Watercooler is a disaster, I’ve barely heard anything about football so it’s mostly just random people being shitty to each other. If you think this is funny you’re a shitty person who finds amusement in seeing people drained and tired of the constant strife, or you’re responsible for encouraging this behaviour to get views.<br><br>If you posted a decent question or interesting topic, it’s always going to be hijacked by US politics. Even if you’re asking for advice about cancer, or resources for homelessness, there’ll always be at least a few posts about the current events. If you try to mention that you don’t want to discuss politics, you’ll be told to fuck off or called a maga asshole for not wanting to discuss US politics. <br><br>I try to ignore it, but it’s fucking exhausting. I feel like I’m the only one here who wants to talk about anything else, and I feel like I’m being overwhelmed. I’m not even American, I don’t give a shit about your politics, I’m just tired of seeing it. It seems like nobody cares about anything else except their precious politics, and it’s really draining to be overwhelmed by this constant theme wherever I go on Chambers.<br><br>Fuck all of you politics posters, I’m so sick of seeing it. I don’t care who you are, or what you believe in, or what your platform is, I just think you’re a shitty person for refusing to entertain the idea that other people might want to discuss something else.
