My 9-year-old grandson asked me: “Pop, I’m not allowed to check girls, but I don’t understand why. Are their bodies the same as mine?”

Me: “Well, son. Your body is made to pee. Their bodies are made to pee and have babies. And sometimes they get their periods, which is the blood that comes from their body to make a baby with the pee from the man’s body. So no. Their bodies aren’t the same as yours. And I think you can stop with your questions for now. I know it’s a lot to take in.”

Want to guess how many Reddit points this got?

Edit: My son (the 9-year-old's father) was a bit annoyed I answered his question. He thinks 9 is too early to talk about periods.
