I have been having the same conversation at work for 5 days. No one else seems to have noticed.

I work at a fast food restaurant, and at the end of every day I have a conversation with my manager about why I didn't put enough sauce in the chicken nuggets. Today, my manager told me that I didn't put enough sauce in the chicken nuggets. I apologized and told him that It won't happen again tomorrow. There was a long awkward silence and he asked why I said that. I told him that I knew we were going to have this exact same conversation tomorrow, because we've had it every day for the past five days.

He told me that he doesn't remember having the conversation with me yesterday, and that I'm acting strange. He told me go home because I don't seem to be myself today.

I told him that I wasn't going to tell him again, but that I've had this conversation with him 5 days in a row, and that it's actually starting to get pretty annoying. He looked at me like I had grown a second head. He told me to go home and that he'll call my manager and see if I can have the rest of the day off.

I'm currently sitting in my car in the parking lot, posting this. I'm wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this. I'm really hoping it's not just me. Also, I'm worried because this is the only job I have, and the only income I have, so If I get fired, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. But at the same time, I'm really interested in seeing if this conversation is going to happen again tomorrow.
