CMV: If someone is unemployed but otherwise able-bodied, the government should not provide them with any financial assistance

I've always believed this—partially because I think it leads to laziness, and partially because I feel the government should have to prioritize other things that are more important than just giving people money. <br><br>I'm open to being convinced I'm wrong.
