Can a man survive on a small island with a small cabin and animals?

I've always wanted to live an isolated life in a small cabin with some solar panels, animals, and an internet connection. The idea of that makes me so comfortable while the real world constantly makes me miserable. But, is it possible for a man to survive on his own in the wilderness? I mean, I can give an animal birth, treat a dog with a broken leg, and many other things like that, but is it realistic for a single person to do all of the stuff I mentioned?

I have a man in my family who did it. He's living in a small village in the mountains while he owns a house in a big city. He also lives a good life. All of his needs are covered. But he's also a male surrounded by a lot of old women who take care of him. In short, he's a man who has 20 female caregivers. Is it possible for a single male to do all this stuff on his own? A lot of men have done this before but the issue is they live with 2-3 more men and a 1-2 female. But is it possible for a man with no social connections, family, or friends to live in a small cabin by himself in an isolated place?

In some parts of the world, you can live like that with a small amount of money. But in my country, I have to buy that island. I'm not sure how much it would cost but I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap.

So, is it possible? Or am I just being naive?

[EDIT]: I've been thinking about this for about 15-20 years. I've been to many places, learned a lot of stuff, read a lot of books and documents. It's not a random idea that I've been thinking about it for a few hours, days, weeks, or months.
