What are your thoughts on Intentionalism?

The idea that things can be good or bad only because we perceive them to be so. I'm sure that's a flawed definition so correct me if I'm wrong.<br><br>I don't like this philosophy because it can be applied to the question of "Is it wrong to torture and other people who you have no intention of making suffer?" and the fact that if we didn't think suffering was such a bad thing, it would be easier to deal with. But it would be no less bad. And don't get me started on it being linked with Platonic realism.
