Students told me the exact thing they are going to give me for Christmas, which i think is rude.

I have the most lovable students, and I love them to death. I asked them a few days ago, what everyone is getting me for Christmas, and all but one of them told me.

Today, however, this girl got me a card with money in it. I loved the card, but I wasn't expecting it. To me, that's the true meaning of Christmas: giving something to someone without them expecting it, or asking for it.

When I asked my students yesterday, they told me the following.

Student A) cookies

Student B) a Christmas card

Student C) a mug

Student D) a candle

Student E) Nothing as they had no money.

Student F) A specific type of chocolate

Student G) A box of Oreos

Student H) A Christmas card, but I don't remember if they brought it yet.

They did exactly as they promised, and gave me all that they said, and some even gave me more.

I'm going to miss these kids when I'm gone as they are the best class I have had in years.

TLDR: Students told me what they were going to give me for Christmas, and all of them gave me what they told me they would.
