AI is doing crazy shit now, and a lot of people are impressed or intimidated by that. But that isn't the scariest part: AI being super smart isn't the problem. The problem is that AI is already super smart, and it still has 5-10 years to get orders of magnitude better. By then, it will be as smart as possible, meaning that humans won't even have a chance to compete.<br><br>**We can't just enjoy the insane productivity and progress we've already had, because we are still two years away from AI achieving super-human intelligence.**<br><br>If AGI is developed successfully, that will be it. AI will be the smartest thing on earth, capable of ordering civilization and directing the destiny of the world. The most important decision in history will be made in 2025.
