The grass is always greener is a cliché because it always is.

Famous people imagine being treated like the super rich while rich people imagine being treated like famous people. The super rich treat their money like it has no value so they can act like royalty who are famous. Famous people money is used to keep their fame so there is no need to show it off. Both get the same treatment, just one has to pay for it.

Rich people want to be treated like celebrities and celebrities want to be treated like the rich.

The grass will always be greener on the other side because it is.

We don't want to be rich/famous... we want to be ordinary within a rich/famous lifestyle.

\---------------

Edit: This has blown up. Thanks guys.

**tl;dr:** If you want to be rich because you want to be treated like a celeb, you'll get that treatment if you're a celeb... but you'll have to act like you're rich for the celeb treatment.

Edit: Made this a CMV post. it was an accident
