Was at the doctor today and heard a woman crying in the examination room next door… Found out she was having a miscarriage

Pretty self-explanatory. Was at the doctor today for a routine checkup and heard a woman crying in the exam room next door. I was listening to music so didn’t hear her wailing at first, but when I turned my sound off I could hear her crying. It was really sad. I couldn’t see her or hear the conversation with the doctor, but she sounded like she was in a lot of pain and was clearly distraught. <br><br>When I went back up to the front desk to schedule my follow up appointment, the woman I was sitting next to earlier was still there, and she had heard the same thing. We both just looked at each other and I could tell we were thinking the same thing. She told me she thought the woman had miscarried because she said she’d been experiencing pain and heavy bleeding. I felt terrible for her. I can’t imagine how awful it must be to lose a pregnancy, I’m so sorry that this is the reality for so many women.
