OpenAI tells investors it is on track to post $1 billion in revenue this year and break even in 2024, a major financial milestone for a company that until last year had lost hundreds of millions of dollars per year. The chatbot has generated enormous interest, with some developers creating apps that allow them to chat to digital versions of themselves. <br><br>Mr Altman, who in recent days has met investors in New York, Boston and San Francisco, said OpenAI was on track to be one of the most valuable companies in the world: “If you train a model that’s 10 times better, that means you can make 10 times as much money at the same cost.”
