If you go to a restaurant and don’t finish your meal, you’re being entitled

You ask for food, they bring you food, you eat 70-80% of it, and then you leave the last 20-30% of the food on the table and ask for the bill and a doggy bag. If you knew you were gonna leave some food here, why didn’t you ask for a smaller portion? If you knew you were gonna leave some food here, why didn’t you just ask for a doggy bag from the get go? If you knew you were gonna leave some food here, why the hell did you ask for it in the first place? You are wasting their resources you dumb fuck.

Edit: I have no sympathy for people who ask for full portions because they cost more, but then leave food there because they can’t finish it. You’re doing business 101 wrong, you’re wasting food, and you’re wasting everyone’s time by asking for a doggy bag when you could have asked for a smaller portion from the beginning. When I go to a restaurant, I ask for a smaller portion with no doggy bag so I can finish my food and not be a waste of time and resources. I never leave a restaurant with unfinished food because that’s called doing the bare minimum. I have an issue with people who order full portions and ask for doggy bags when they could just ask for smaller portions and no doggy bag. If you’re asking for a full portion and a doggy bag, you’re the problem. If you’re asking for a full portion and no doggy bag but the plate comes big and you can’t finish it, I have no issue with that because it’s not your fault.

Edit 2: I have no problem with asking for a doggy bag for the leftovers, I have a problem with people who order too much food, don’t finish it, and then complain about restaurant prices. If you can’t finish a full portion, then don’t order a full portion. I have no problem with asking for a smaller portion. This is about not ordering more than what you can eat. If you order what you can finish with no leftovers, then that’s perfectly fine. If you order more than what you can eat and ask for a doggy bag, then that’s also fine. I have a problem with people who order more food than they can eat and leave it for the restaurant to dispose of.
