I ghosted a friend after they said something racist

She posted a picture of her boyfriend on instagram and he’s black. One of our mutual friends made a racist comment on the picture and instead of telling him off, she just ghosted him. <br><br>She also unfollowed him on instagram and has now also removed all her old pictures of him on instagram and has also stopped responding to his texts and phone calls.<br><br>Our other friends are beginning to realise that something is going on and are asking where he is.<br><br>She has told me that she’s upset about what he said.<br><br>Now I’m not defending what our friend said. I told him he was out of order and should apologise and I’ve also made it clear to him that I don’t condone racism. He has since apologised and explained that he didn’t mean what he said and that it was a joke that was poorly worded.<br><br>But I don’t think the way she has handled things is right. But then I also think he should really man up and apologise in person rather than via text message.<br><br>INFO: The friend that made the comment isn’t racist. He’s not the best with words and sometimes things come out wrong.
