I had a dog bite me in front of my boyfriend and it has been really awkward ever since

I have a dog that we adopted together, about 1.5 years ago. He's a really sweet dog. Last week, he bit me while I was sitting on the couch with my boyfriend next to me. I don't think he meant to, he is not typically aggressive, and I know that he is still a puppy and still learning. My boyfriend has been acting really weird since the incident, and I'm starting to feel like I'm walking on eggshells around him. He hasn't apologized or even acknowledged the fact that it was an accident. I feel like this is affecting my relationship and I'm worried about where it will lead.
