How would you feel about a reddit spinoff that protected anons, banned throwaways, banned proxy accounts and made upvoting pointless?

I’ve been looking at the most recent changes to the site and thinking about how they all lead to the same conclusion: the best way to end vote manipulation and ensure that voters are invested and trained is to require people to make their history public. Considering that anons are pretty much the only demographic still protected now, I started imagining what a spinoff of reddit that protected anonymous accounts would look like. The only way to keep voting fair is to make it pointless.

Here are the rules:

- No throwaways. You need to have your main account attached to your new account.

- No proxy accounts. If you’re caught making more than one account, all of your accounts receive a permaban.

- No upvoting unless you have 2500 karma and at least 500 of that is from comments. Downvotes never have a karma requirement.

- If an account gets banned, all karma is deleted. No exceptions.

- No account can have more than one mod position, and mods can only mod one sub.

- Any account that breaks a rule receives a permanent ban with no exceptions.

- No sub may have more than 500 moderators, because otherwise mods stop being a community asset and become spammers.

- Every mod must have at least 500 karma from their comments. Mods must also regularly post.

- No mod may be a mod in more than one sub, and no account can mod more than one sub.

- Any mod who breaks a rule receives a permanent ban without exceptions.

- Accounts that get banned cannot create new accounts. All new accounts will be banned.

- Subs must have at least two mods at all times, and all mods can be reached by message.

- Any sub that breaks a rule is permanently quarantined without exceptions.

- All subs must have their rules page easily accessible from the front page, and all rules must be clearly stated and followed. Any sub that does not follow its own rules receives a permanent quarantine.

- Any sub may be reported only by people who have posted or commented in a post in the sub.

- Subs with fewer than 1k subscribers are generally left alone as long as they are not breaking sitewide rules.

- All users must have 50 karma to post or comment. There is a sub where users can post to gain karma.

- Any post that breaks a rule will be removed and the account receive a temporary ban.

- Any comment that breaks a rule will be removed and the account will receive a temporary ban.

- Consistent misbehavior is met with permanent bans.

- Any account that consistently posts divisive or controversial content will be monitored. If the majority of what they post fits into one of the categories on the hate speech list, they will receive a permanent ban.

- Any sub that consistently promotes hate speech will be permanently quarantined.

- Any sub that consistently posts divisive or controversial content will be quarantined until the mod team is replaced.

What do you think?
