So I had a manicure yesterday, I always get it at the same place, I called this morning to confirm the appointment and the receptionist said she didn't have me on her book. I thought nothing of it and told her I was on the way. I get there and the receptionist was confused. She asked me my name and I told her, and she said, "Oh I'm so sorry. You're booked for today at 1pm for a manicure and pedi". I looked at my schedule and I didn't have time for a pedi, so I politely let her know. She asked me if I wanted the pedi and I said no, just the manicure. She replied, "Okay. So you're doing the regular manicure today. I'll get the nail technician to get you set up. That'll be $35 please." I asked her to hold on, went to the ATM and returned to the salon, where she was waiting for me. I gave her the $35 and said I'd just do a regular manicure. She looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I had changed my mind and was now going to do the pedi. I said no, I'm going to do a regular manicure. She looked at her calendar and said, "So you're not doing a pedi today. That's fine. But I don't have time for a regular manicure, so I'm going to have to book you for next week." I asked her what was happening today, and she said, "I have three people booked for manicures today and a full pedi schedule. I have to get all of them done." She went on to say that she'd done 7 manicures and 10 pedis yesterday, and that the salon was slammed. So I said, "Okay. How long will it take you to do a pedi? I'll do a pedi." She said, "Okay! I'll get you set up. I'll do your feet and the technician will do your hands." So they do the pedi, then this technician comes over and does the most amazing mani I have ever had. It was amazing. It was like the best pedi ever. My toes are looking fabulous, and my nails are the best they've been in a long time.

I was so happy I just had to tell someone.
