Can I write 1500 characters and no more in a yearbook message?

We are supposed to say “so and so will do great things” or “so and so has great potential” etc. I am sick of this. I can’t write a personal yearbook message to the kids I have spent the last 5 years with, kids I love and adore, kids who I know are great but I have to use the same BS message for 500 kids because I have to watch my “praise words”? I can’t write something that has “historical” context? That makes sense to me. But to have to write the same, BS message for 500 kids I love and cherish and have worked with for 5 years is stupid. And I know I’m not the only teacher who is annoyed at the fact that we have to do this.
