I feel like I'm watching the teacher version of a meme about the 40-year old virgin. <br><br>"WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM!" <br><br><br>And it's always the same comments. "If I were there, I would've (insert passive-aggressive, snarky comment here). Because that works. It's not like kids have heard that before.<br><br><br>Look, man. Dealing with difficult students is literally the job. If you aren't willing to make an effort to connect with the most vulnerable, troubled, desperate kids in your room, you're pretty much just a babysitter. <br><br>If you can't handle that, you need to stop.
