Saw a blind person "look" at someone.

So I'm walking down the hallway and there is a kid, probably 5 years old, walking the other way. On his shirt, it says "I am blind." <br><br>In front of him is a grown woman, I assume his mother or his chaperone or something. <br><br>As they're walking, the woman looks up at me, and then the blind kid looks up at me too. Was that a trained thing?
